Dear Parent/Carer

We are very excited to announce that we can now confirm that we are running a Stone Soup academy trip to Barcelona in March 2024 as part of our cultural capital curriculum. The dates have been confirmed as Sunday 24th of March to Wednesday 20th of March 2024. Now is the time to register your interest in your child’s name being put forward for this trip by filling out and returning the attached slip to us by Friday 20th of October.

Whilst in Barcelona, each day will be filled with fun packed activities 

(subject to change) for example;

• Visit to Barcelona Nou Camp Stadium
• Montjuic Cable car ride
• Parc Guell entrance
• Sagrada Familia entrance with guide

Our days in Barcelona will be jam packed with as many sightseeing opportunities and experiences as possible, which means students will need to be prepared for long hours of being on the go and having fun!

Whilst in Barcelona, students will be sleeping in single sex shared dormitories.

We will be taking 8 lucky students and 4 experienced staff on this trip that will be fully paid for by Stone

Soup Academy. Although this trip will not cost you any money, to be considered as one of the lucky 8,

students will need to show excellent:-

• Attendance
• Punctuality
• Attendance to lessons
• Behaviour

We will be inviting those students who are the best of the best in the academy. The final decision will be

taken before Christmas so students can start fresh now and make sure that they have the opportunity to be considered.

Passports will be required to go on this trip but if your child wants to go and doesn’t have one please indicate on the slip below.

Registering your interest does not guarantee a place on the trip; however, this is the first step in the process of deciding who might be able to go. If you are interested in your child’s name being put forward for consideration then please complete the following slip and return to Rachel at High Pavement or Laura at Richmond House by Friday 20th of September.
