Dear Parent/Carer

Wearing of Face Masks in school

Following Government advice, when an area moves to the local COVID alert level ‘high’ or ‘very high’ then face coverings should be worn by adults (staff and visitors) and students when moving around indoors, such as in corridors and in communal areas such as the hub, games room and canteen when queuing for food, where social distancing is difficult to maintain. If your child is exempt from wearing a mask please would you let us know as soon as possible.

It will not usually be necessary to wear face coverings in the classroom, where protective measures already mean the risks are lower.

Unfortunately, Nottingham City has now moved into ‘very high’ and as such masks must now be worn. Please would you ensure that your child is sent into school with an appropriate mask when they return on the 2nd of November.

Kind regards
