Dear Parents/Carers,

Here at Stone Soup Academy we are always looking for new ways to support your child, their well being and education and be the best provision we can be. It is well known that engagement and working in partnership with parents and carers is beneficial for enhancing children’s success. Whilst we are in touch regularly, we are looking at strengthening our relationships with you and working together even more closely.

Parents/carers play an extremely important role in our Stone Soup family and we always value your support and input. To enable us to develop this further we would like to create a parent leadership group for our current students. This will involve meeting 3 times over the academic year at a time that suits those who would like to get involved. We would like 5 parents to meet with Becky, our Assistant Head of Engagement, over cake and coffee to discuss ways in which we can enhance the school experience for our students. You do not have to have any specific skills or experience, just a willingness to get involved. We would really value your contributions and believe this would provide the ideal opportunity for us all to work together to gain your thoughts, ideas and opinions and really collaborate for the benefit of our students, your children.
