MOCK EXAMS

Dear Parents/Carers,

We are conducting mock exams this half term to prepare for the GCSE exams in the summer. These exams will also show us where your child needs help so we can give them more targeted support. The aim is for your child to achieve the best possible grade in the actual exams. During the mocks some students will be sitting functional skills. This will allow some students to bank early Maths and English qualifications.

We understand that some of our students find exams stressful and cause some anxiety. Teachers are practicing with students in class past papers to minimise the stress level and build confidence.

These exams are meant to be supportive and we are happy to support any young person who is finding the process stressful.
