Introduction from the Principal summarising the core principles of the school and our journey so far
Working with our students, knowing the difficulties they go through and helping them to achieve their full potential, in spite of difficult backgrounds, is truly amazing!"
Harvey Schofield has been working with the Stone Soup Project for the past 5 years; when the Academy opened its doors in 2012 he moved into the Learning Mentor role. Since then he has developed remarkably positive relationships with students. On top of his specialist training through a variety of courses, Harvey draws upon years of experience in customer service and behaviour management roles in various countries including England, France and Antigua.
Of his role at the Stone Soup Academy, Harvey says: “Working with our students, knowing the difficulties they go through and helping them to achieve their full potential in spite of difficult backgrounds, is truly amazing! Knowing the students go on to college and work placements with a new set of skills and dreams, and knowing you have played a part in helping them achieve that, is hugely rewarding.”
